Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Technical Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of facilities management services across a high-profile portfolio. This role will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, efficient and cost-effective operation of building services, with a strong focus on technical maintenance, contractor management, compliance and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day facilities operations across the portfolio
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Manage contractors, vendors and service providers to ensure works are completed safely, on time and to standard
- Ensure compliance with WHS, statutory, legislative and company requirements
- Monitor building performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support budgeting, forecasting, purchase orders, invoicing and cost control
- Conduct site inspections and manage any risks, defects or maintenance issues
- Build strong relationships with clients, tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders
- Support minor projects, upgrades and lifecycle works as required
- Maintain accurate records, reports, compliance documentation and maintenance schedules
Requirements
- Previous experience in Facilities Management, Technical Facilities Management or building services
- Strong technical understanding across areas such as HVAC, electrical, fire, hydraulics, lifts and general building maintenance
- Experience managing contractors and planned/reactive maintenance programs
- Strong knowledge of WHS, risk, compliance and statutory requirements
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Strong financial and administrative capability, including budgets, invoicing and reporting
- Trade, engineering, facilities management or building services qualification highly regarded
