About the opportunity
Join our high performing Sales team as an Internal New Homes Sales Consultant and provide an exceptional customer experience to clients throughout their exciting journey purchasing a new home.
You will:
- Work from the head office, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend appointments
- Convert internet enquiry leads into sales by assisting customers with advice on house design selection, upgrades and options
- Assess and forward online enquiries to the relevant display teams
- Support customers through the sales cycle from initial quote, presenting tenders to variations
- Provide exceptional customer service, manage client expectations and be a trusted advisor
- Complete sales documentation and paperwork to a high standard within required timeframes
- Collaborate with other departments within MJH and the NEX Building Group to deliver complete and correct documentation
- Meet clients on site at display centres when necessary
About you
You will share a passion for our purpose to be Australia's number one residential builder and be aligned to our core values. You will demonstrate:
- An outgoing personality with exceptional listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A passion for property, home design and living spaces
- At least 1 year of experience within the residential building industry, ideally with a project home builder or custom builder. Experience in Sales Consulting, Associate, Drafting or Estimating highly advantageous
- A commitment to customer service excellence
- Collaborative and team focused approach
- Passionate, goal oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
- Confident computer systems skills and ability to learn quickly
- Strong planning, organising and administrative skills
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, occasional weekends and public holidays
