The group also operates in manufacturing (Supaloc steel building systems) and supporting services such as finance, conveyancing and interior design. It originated in 1987 as a family-owned home builder in the Hunter region of NSW (originally founded under McDonald Jones Homes), and is majority-owned (80%) by Japan's Asahi Kasei Homes.
