About the role
As the Assistant Facilities Manager, you will be supporting the Facilities Manager in overseeing the service delivery on-site for the operation and maintenance of the Australia Post Sunshine West Parcel Facility.
This will include, but is not limited to:
- Financial, technical, maintenance procurement, asset and vendor management programs
- Facilities administration in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes
You will successfully exceed service delivery requirements of the role by engaging stakeholders across multiple business levels. You will work proactively to ensure the delivery expectations are met without introducing financial or tenure risk.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively develop and manage relationships with occupier and client to ensure service delivery expectations are exceeded to facilitate works
- Assist delivery of building practical completion and defects liability period obligations as well as building inspections and reporting within the governance timeframe
- Administration and organisation of information for analysis and presentation to Senior Management
- Proactively contribute to the effective and efficient running of the site and focus on continuous improvement
- Understand the operational and technical requirements of the elements of the site JLL is responsible for
- Liaise with facilities vendors, coordinate facilities works when required in conjunction with JLL PDS team
- Ensure compliance with OH&S statutory regulations
- Actively encourage an environment that supports teamwork, co-operation & performance excellence across the portfolio
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualifications in Property, Facilities or Trade related field desirable but not mandatory. Demonstrated experience within a similar role will be highly regarded
- 3+ years of proven experience working in corporate real estate / facilities related field
- Understanding of risk mitigation and compliance management practices associated with Facilities Management and Building operation
- Superior client service
- Focused on company growth and meeting targets
- Driven self-starter who is looking to enhance professional and personal skills
- Understanding of basic technical aspects of property
- Experience in front and back office processes
- Current and valid Driver's Licence
