About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and organised professional to manage the void process across our housing portfolio in both metropolitan and regional locations. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our properties are turned around efficiently and made re-lettable within agreed timeframes.
You’ll be responsible for completing ingoing and outgoing property condition reports, coordinating maintenance works from initial scoping through to completion, and managing the handover and handback of properties entering and exiting the portfolio. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
The position is based at our Leederville office, with regular travel required to FHL properties across the Perth metropolitan area. A fully maintained company vehicle will be provided to support you in carrying out your duties.
About You
You will thrive in this role if you have:
- Knowledge and experience in the building industry including construction processes and timelines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders effectively and sensitively.
- High computer literacy using the Microsoft Office suite including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Understanding of WHS legislation.
- Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills.
- Attention to administrative detail including maintaining company asset registers.
You’ll need a current WA driver’s licence and will be required to provide a National Police Check.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
- Purpose-led organisation – your work changes lives every day
- A culture of kindness – caring is our most shared and valued behaviour
- What our people say – 95% recommend FHL as a great place to work
The Perks
- Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging (up to $15,899 + $2,650 meal/entertainment card)
- Wellness Allowance ($200) + 2 x Wellness Days per year
- Employee Assistance Program (6 free sessions + resilience app)
- Hybrid Work Environment (1 day WFH)
- Modern offices in central Leederville
