Purpose of the Role

BGIS is looking for an experienced Regional Facilities Manager to support service delivery across a large multi agency government property portfolio throughout New South Wales. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will work closely with client agencies and BGIS teams to ensure contractual KPIs are met, maintenance programs run smoothly, and facilities remain safe, compliant, and well supported.

This is a significant portfolio with demanding performance expectations, so you'll enjoy bringing structure, consistency, and clear communication to a busy environment. You can be based anywhere in NSW, with regular travel to client sites across the region.

The ideal candidate will be organised, adaptable, and customer focused, with sound commercial understanding and the resilience to manage high expectations while keeping relationships positive and productive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee service delivery across the portfolio, ensuring contractual KPIs are consistently achieved.
  • Manage contract financial performance, including invoicing, budgets, cost management, and supplier payments.
  • Plan and coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance programs using the CMMS.
  • Develop scopes of works and contract documentation in line with BGIS procurement processes.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, including documentation, WHS compliance, and assessment of completed works.
  • Prepare and obtain approvals for variations and additional works.
  • Monitor contract performance and support continuous improvement through KPI reviews and stakeholder feedback.
  • Build positive working relationships with client agencies, contractors, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Prepare monthly reports and keep stakeholders informed of progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support WHS, quality, environmental, and sustainability requirements across all activities.
  • Travel regularly to client sites across NSW.

Education, Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Experience delivering integrated facilities management, property, or maintenance services.
  • Experience managing large scale maintenance programs across multiple sites.
  • Experience procuring and managing subcontractors.
  • Sound financial and commercial understanding, including budgeting and cost management.
  • Knowledge of legislative and statutory requirements relating to maintenance activities.
  • Experience working within QA, WHS, and environmental systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CMMS platforms.
  • Current Driver's Licence and willingness to travel regularly across NSW.

Desirable:

  • Qualification or experience in Facilities Management.
  • Experience with collaborative, relationship, or alliance contracting.
  • Experience with estimating and whole of life cost planning.
  • Experience with environmental, ESD, or energy initiatives.
  • Experience supporting government or multi agency portfolios.
