About the Role

Join a high-performing sales team focused on driving growth for Qantas Business Rewards. This is a fixed-term 6-month, full-time opportunity based at Qantas HQ in Mascot, with a minimum of 3 days onsite.

Qantas Business Rewards (QBR) helps Australian businesses turn travel and everyday spend into meaningful value. Members earn Qantas Points on eligible flights and with a wide network of partners, enjoy savings on travel and lounge access, and access exclusive offers. Points can be redeemed for flights, upgrades and more, benefiting both the business and its people. Backed by a team focused on data-driven engagement and insight, QBR makes business travel smarter and more rewarding.

As a Qantas Business Rewards Sales Consultant, you'll be conducting outbound phone calls to Qantas Business Rewards customers to drive revenue, product education and engagement, using data to uncover opportunities. You'll champion the program's value, the strength of Qantas' flying proposition and connect customers with tailored offers and products, and monitor results to deliver stronger engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound sales calls with business owners and travel arrangers, building trust, rapport and lasting relationships
  • Achieve KPIs across sales engagement, program usage, call quality and customer satisfaction
  • Communicate the value of Qantas Business Rewards and use product knowledge to educate customers and drive engagement
  • Use open questioning to understand customer needs, identify opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and follow established processes
  • Stay adaptable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while contributing to a positive team culture
  • Participate in product training, sales coaching and team performance initiatives
  • Deliver phone-based sales and best-in-class customer engagement through meaningful, data-led conversations

Requirements

  • 3–5 years' experience in outbound telephone sales or account management
  • Engaging phone manner, with the ability to generate interest, build rapport and reduce churn
  • Resilience, energy and a positive mindset in a high-performance, customer-first team
  • Proven ability to achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets
  • Strong communication, discovery and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret and act on data insights
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM reporting or Salesforce experience desirable
