About the Role
Colliers is looking for an experienced Property Accounting leader to oversee our national property accounting and client reporting function within Real Estate Management Services (REMS).
This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible role where you'll partner with senior leadership, lead a specialised team and drive improvements across finance, systems and operations.
You'll be the go-to expert for property accounting, ensuring exceptional client outcomes, strong financial controls and continuous improvement across the business.
Responsibilities
- Leading our national property accounting and client reporting function
- Managing and mentoring a high-performing team of trust accounting professionals
- Partnering with senior leaders on budgeting, forecasting and business performance
- Driving process improvement, automation and systems enhancements
- Ensuring compliance, governance and financial control standards are maintained
- Supporting new business opportunities through commercial and financial input
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key clients
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in property accounting, trust accounting or real estate finance
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to develop high-performing teams
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
- Experience improving systems, processes and operational efficiency
- CPA or CA qualification preferred
- A collaborative approach and passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes
