Salary: $154,231 to $178,369 plus super (relative to experience)
About the role
As the Group Senior Manager, Property Analytics, you will lead the strategic direction of Value NSW's Property Analytics function, building organisational capability across analytics, data governance, machine learning and continuous improvement. You will provide expert advice to senior leaders, drive innovation and analytical excellence, and ensure high-quality insights support evidence-based decision-making across valuation services. This is a unique opportunity to establish and grow a newly created function while shaping the future of property analytics across NSW.

About Value NSW
Value NSW (VNSW), part of the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, delivers the valuation system for rating and taxing as well as compulsory acquisition compensation purposes via delegation of the Valuer General of NSW.
Key responsibilities include:
- Making more than 2.7 million residential, rural, commercial and industrial valuations annually, with a total value of approximately $3 trillion
- Managing compulsory acquisition determinations in situations where government cannot reach agreement, totalling over $1 billion per annum
- Delivering customer services and experience for 2.7 million landholders per annum – receiving up to 50,000 calls and many more enquiries
- Monitoring, assurance and governance pertaining to the quality of the valuations undertaken relevant to both the Valuation of Land Act 1916 and the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991
- Providing specialised valuation activities, services and determinations for other cluster or statewide government partners
- Delivering all valuations for government property transactions as defined by the Government Property Framework and Treasurer's Directions
- Managing more than $84 billion in government asset valuations for financial accounting purposes
