Reports to: Facilities Manager
Play a key role in supporting the smooth, safe and high‑quality operation of essential facilities. You'll help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support our clients, communities and essential services.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate day‑to‑day facilities operations and maintenance activities across assigned sites, ensuring environments are safe, compliant and welcoming.
- Partner with contractors, service providers, tenants and internal teams to deliver works to a high standard, on time and safely.
- Support health, safety and compliance initiatives through site inspections, risk assessments and accurate record‑keeping.
- Assist with maintenance planning, asset registers, reporting and procurement in line with Downer policies and budgets.
- Respond to tenant and stakeholder enquiries with professionalism, care and a solutions‑focused mindset.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in facilities, property or asset management, or a related operational environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, plan and manage competing demands confidently.
- Clear, respectful communication skills and the ability to build trusted working relationships.
- A sound understanding of WH&S and compliance requirements, with a genuine commitment to Zero Harm.
- Confidence using systems and tools to track work, maintain records and support continuous improvement.
- A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
