Our Assistant Valuer role requires a provision of analytical skills, valuations and financial capability working within the Commercial / Industrial Institution team. What this job involves This role works as a support to the Valuers within the Brisbane Commercial / Industrial Institution team, by: To assist with timely and accurate preparation of valuation reports under direct supervision of a Director Undertaking financial and sensitivity analysis to be utilised in valuation reports including use of Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models Compiling and verifying sales data and market evidence utilised in valuation reports Attending appropriate client functions and seminars Accompanying valuers on site inspections. Providing direct assistance as required Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for: You enjoy building client relationships & have collaborative relations with your colleagues and wider business community. You are able to make decisions to resolve problems, improve operationally and regularly communicate plans and performance progress. You will have a keen interest in the commercial real estate market and a basic understanding of influences in this sector as well as be tertiary qualified in property valuation, with a view to gaining registration with relevant professional authorities.
