Compensation Range: $90,000 - $110,000 AUD
Reporting to: Associate Director of Development Advisory
About the Role
The Quantity Surveyor is passionate about helping clients manage their Construction costs. You will be involved in ensuring financial efficiency through the various stages of construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed cost analyses, estimates, cost plans and feasibility studies for construction projects
- Complete full trade and elemental take-off
- Measure quantities for variations and manage risks in relation to changes
- Undertake site visits and complete valuations of work complete on site
- Prepare cash flows
- Manage client relations and assist in establishing a client's requirements
- Provide expert advice on cost-effective construction methods and materials
- Undertake cost analysis and feasibility studies
Key Qualifications
- Expertise and accreditation in Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management
- 2–5 years' Quantity Surveying experience
- Membership in an approved Professional Body (e.g. AIQS, RICS, CIOB)
- Knowledge of the local construction industry including development, contracting and consulting sectors
- Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
