Principal Broker - Strata

We are seeking an experienced insurance professional and people leader to join our Strata team at Marsh. This role is available in our Sydney office. This is a hybrid role which offers the opportunity to work three days in the office and two days at home.

In this leadership role, you will provide guidance and support to a team of 4 Senior/Account Executives who play a pivotal role in managing and growing our Strata clients. You will also account manage several key clients, with a focus on strategic relationship management.

We will count on you to: Build and maintain constant connectivity with key Strata clients. Manage workflow approvals, development plans and technical oversight. Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to the team. Roll out claims and strata training to Strata Managers and respond to their technical insurance questions. Continue to grow the book of business. Maintain strong technical insurance knowledge across Public Liability, Fidelity Guarantee (Crime Coverage), Building Damage, and Office Bearers (Directors & Officers) Liability.

What you need to have: Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or Equivalent). Prior broking or underwriting experience within Strata or Property insurance. Strong knowledge of General & Financial Lines products. A genuine interest in mentoring junior brokers. The ability to balance operational leadership with client oversight.
