About the Role
This is a key position supporting our property management teams across the region. You'll be the backbone of our trust accounting function, making sure everything balances, runs on time, and meets compliance standards.
This role can be based in Ballarat or Geelong.
Responsibilities
- Managing daily receipting across multiple trust accounts
- Handling accounts receivable and payable
- Processing invoices for landlords and tenants
- Coordinating monthly and mid-month tenant invoicing
- Running weekly payment batches for landlords and creditors
- Completing end-of-month, bond, and buffer account reconciliations
- Supporting property managers with outgoings reconciliations and annual estimates
- Assisting the wider team with general operational support as needed
What Success Looks Like
- Trust accounts are balanced daily with discrepancies identified and resolved quickly
- Invoices are processed accurately and on time
- Key dates and financial deadlines are consistently met
About You
You're someone who thrives on accuracy and structure, but also enjoys being part of a supportive, fast-paced team. You take pride in getting the details right and understand the importance of compliance in trust accounting.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Previous experience in trust accounting or a similar finance role (real estate preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confidence working with financial systems and processes
- A proactive, team-first attitude
