About Transport for NSW
Transport for NSW is a New South Wales Government agency responsible for planning, building and managing transport infrastructure and services across New South Wales, including roads, train, metro, bus, ferries, light rail and point-to-point transport. Since absorbing Roads and Maritime Services in December 2019, it is also responsible for road infrastructure, day-to-day compliance and safety for roads and waterways, and vehicle and driver licence registrations.
